We’ve been getting glimpses of Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, and the rest of the cast of Magic Mike baring it all for ages—and hey, guess what? The movie is finally here! The male stripper flick finally comes out on Friday, and we do have to say, it took its sweet time getting here. Ready to get the proverbial “it” on?

WARNING: In case you haven’t already figured it out, this post is EXTREMELY NSFW. Proceed with caution—or just save it all to watch when you get home from the office!

1. The Full Monty

Boy, did this 1997 British flick ever take the world by surprise! Faced with the closing of Sheffield’s once-successful steel mills, former steel workers Gary “Gaz” Schofield (Robert Carlyle) and Dave Horsefall (Mark Addy) find themselves in dire straits. Their solution? A Chippendales-style group featuring Sheffield’s local blokes. Little did they know that their odd-ball group would end up being a hit—especially with their wives!

2. The Chippendales Murder

Four years before he would become one of the stars of a little show created by J. J. Abrams called Lost, Naveen Andrews starred in the TV movie The Chippendales Murder. A (somewhat sensationalized, of course) true story, the movie chronicled the story of Steve Banjerlee (Naveen) and choreographer Nick De Noia (Paul Hipp) as they created what would become the Chippendales. Oh, and there’s a murder, of course. Ah! Intrigue!

3. Castle

The third season Castle episode “Almost Famous” found Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) searching for the murderer of a popular male stripper named Derek Brookner. Naturally, their investigation took them into the club where Derek worked, and, well… you can see what happened.
