Prince William stated at the photo call the reason why he gave Kate his mother’s ring was, ‘my way of making sure my mother didn’t miss out on today’. The platinum ring has an oval blue 18-karat sapphire surrounded by 14 small white diamonds. The market price for a similar ring would be around $150,000.

I love engagement rings that aren’t traditional diamond solitaires! So pretty
I wouldn’t wear a copy of it. It’s just not my style, and I would rather splurge on one investment piece that’s real than have more jewelry that’s less expensive.
It’s too much ring for my style so I wouldn’t wear a replica.
I dont like the style of this ring..
I agree with not wearing a replica but I do love blue sapphires and diamonds!
I love the Kasmir Sapphire..not available any longer in nature!
I wouldn’t wear a copy just because someone famous has one–and I’m already tired of hearing all about the engagement–no offense.
