A 42-year-old Dutch woman has been charged with stalking after cell phone records showed she called an unidentified guy more than 65,000 times over the course of a year. Worse than that, she's also been charged with not playing it cool.

Before you think "Wait, over a year? I've probably called a guy that much,"— which you may not have thought, but I sure did— this brought me comfort:

"To reach 65,000 calls, the woman had to have called 178 times a day," reports ABC News. "That’s nearly eight calls an hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week or one phone call every eight minutes, without ever stopping."

What's worse, according to the 62-year-old guy she's accused of stalking, they weren't even dating.

In court, in The Hague (you know, the place where they also bring international war crimes to trial), the woman claimed her call cycle was totally normal and their relationship warranted it.

Oh dear. If the alleged compulsive caller is reading this post, I have good news and bad news. The bad news first: it's probably not going to work out with this guy after all. Now the good news: this kind of stuff happens a lot. Here, this makes usually makes me feel better...
