According to Fashionista, they’ve been following the tweets of Robert Duffy, Jacobs’ business partner. If you twitter, take a look at his feed – MarcJacobsInt. On August 3rd, Duffy tweeted, “Listen, we are in the very beginning stages of talking to a partner about plus sizes. Relax. It won't be based on the collection line.”
If Jacobs does decide to do a plus size line, it’ll have a home at Saks Fifth Avenue. The store is now stocking up on luxury label plus sizes from Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Toula, Akris, Armani, Carolina Herrera and more in sizes 16 to 20.
While nothing has been set in stone yet, you can read all the tweets from Duffy about the possibility of a plus size Marc Jacobs line at Fashionista.
