What to Pack for a Fun, Flirty Memorial Day Weekend Trip
You’ve got three days of sun and fun this Memorial Day Weekend. Pack well!
I don’t know what I like more: Going away on a trip or packing for one. Every item I pick up tells me a story about what will happen when I wear it. If I decide to not take something, I swear I heat it whimper. You never want to hurt your clothes’ feelings.
When packing for a short trip, the key to getting it right is, well, packing right and making sure what you got packed is versatile enough to go from day to night. We all have a tendency to over pack, but the truth is that you’ll never wear half of what you’ve got stuffed in your bag. Which brings us back to the word “versatility.” Pick pieces that you can use for more than one place. A romper is a cover up is a casual brunch outfit. Worse comes to worse remember this: If you’re staying at a friend’s house, you can borrow something. And the planet has stores! Friends have shampoos etc., that you can use and hotels have cute tiny travel sizes that come with the room.
