What Does the Perfect Version of Yourself Look Like?
Inspired by the movie Limitless, we want to know what you’d do to become your best self if nothing was holding you back.
The concept of the new movie Limitless, which hits theaters this Friday, is an intriguing one. Bradley Cooper’s character takes a drug that allows him to utilize his entire brain to its full potential. He becomes richer, smarter, hotter, and more powerful overnight. The trailer of the movie asks, “How many of us ever know what it is to become the perfect version of ourselves?”
Sure, we’d all love to say that we try to be the best version of ourselves every day, but more often than not, life’s unexpected twists and turns get in the way. Magic drugs aside, if you were “limitless” with nothing holding you back, what would you do to become the perfect version of yourself?
Personally, I’d work out and eat healthy every day instead of calling it quits after two or three days like I do now. I’d also work on my first book, learn to speak fluent French, always have my hands and feet manicured, and volunteer on the weekends instead of the usual drink-be hungover-drink pattern I usually fall into. I’d travel all over to experience different cultures and would always be dressed meticulously from head-to-toe. I’d keep up with my friends without using Facebook, and call my parents and relatives every day. I’d throw fabulous dinner parties with gourmet food that I cooked, and would have a feature published in every major women’s magazine. I’d be confident enough to say “F*&# you” to any guy who didn’t treat me right, and “I like you” to the ones that did. I’d run a marathon. I’d wear SPF. I’d learn how to surf…
Those are just some of the things I can think of off the top of my head. Now, it’s your turn. What would you do to become the perfect version of yourself?
