In case you haven’t heard, the latest installment of the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, hit theaters Wednesday night, and Twilight fans are going wild for the film – even Lindsay Lohan dragged her SCRAM out to see it! We checked in with the top Twilight fan sites to see what Twi-hards think of Eclipse.

Kimmy and Nicky from www.hisgoldeneyes.com praised Eclipse as a film for everyone. Eclipse got glowing reviews from the duo who touted it as the best of the Twilight series. “Our favorite of the three: hands down…We loved it, plain and simple,” the pair said. Although Kimmy and Nicky give the movie props for catering to the fans, the bloggers also think that even non-Twi-hards can enjoy the film, with it’s “amped up” action and romance scenes. “We honestly think that people who haven’t read the books can enjoy it for what it is, a summer blockbuster.”

Kara from TwilightersAnonymous.com breaks down her Eclipse review in categories of overall acting, music, effects, Book to Movie, Romance, and IMAX vs. Regular Format. Kara thinks Robert, Taylor, and Kristin had “real and genuine performances” while she touts the bad vampires as “some serious awesome.” Kara also gives props to the effects and music, but disagrees with other bloggers that this film is one all will enjoy. “Will the critics love it? Unless they’re a fan of the books or are within the target audience, I won’t hold my breath.”
