Up Close and Personal: Angelina Jolie’s Gorgeous Engagement Ring
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are finally tying the knot! Want a close-up look of Angie’s engagement ring? Check it out here!
By now, you’ve no doubt heard that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have, after seven years, three adoptions, three births, and a lot of saying that they were never going to get married, finally decided to tie the knot. Congratulations, you two! And just in case there was any doubt, it’s not just a rumor this time; Brad’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante, told People on Friday, “Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy.” They haven’t set a date yet—but Angie is already sporting one heck of a sparkler! Want a closer look? Here you go!:
Angie was first spotted with this gorgeous rock on her finger at a private viewing of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Chinese Galleries on April 11, prompting much speculation. Happily, it was confirmed two days later that the ring was indeed an engagement ring. Here’s the picture of Angelina, Brad, and their son Pax that sparked all the excitement:
But of course you’ll want all the details, won’t you? We can help with that! The ring was designed by Robert Procop, whom Angelina had previously collaborated with on her “The Style of Jolie” jewelry line. He had a little help, though—from Brad Pitt himself. “Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a year-long collaboration with Robert,” the jewel house said in a statement, “He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand.” Classy! The statement continued, “Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”
Striking, isn’t it? We think so! How do you think it measures up with all of these other recent celebrity engagement rings? Let us know in the comments!
Congratulations, Angie, Brad, and family!
