Long, flowing Kardashian locks are so last season, kids. Over the last few weeks celebrity after celebrity has debuted a stylish short ‘do on the red carpet. But this isn’t your mama’s bob. This season’s sexiest style is layered, tousled, and so easy-to-wear. Here are a few of Lock & Mane’s favorite looks!
Heroes actress Ali Larter debuted an adorable wavy crop just weeks after giving birth to her baby boy. A stylish cut that requires minimal daily styling (hello natural waves!) is the perfect low-maintenance ‘do for sleep deprived and busy new moms.

Always the trendsetter, Fergie took the look to a whole new level with an angled, uneven style. The dark roots, platinum locks and wild texture give the look a total rock n’ roll vibe.

Much to our delight, Gossip Girl’s Jessica Szhor has ditched the hippie dreadlocks and extensions (hallelujah!) and debuted a sleek, subtly layered ‘do at NYC Fashion Week.

The most versatile and understated of these bob styles, Jessica’s cut can be worn super sleek or made wavy with a texturizing spray.
So, tell us: Are you tempted to chop it off this season?

I am tempted to cut my hair sometimes. I have naturally wavy hair but it also has a lot of body and frizz, so I would be scared it would look like a big pouf!
I’m growing mine out–it got chopped in the spring and is now getting long for the winter.
Very unflattering to Larter.
I’m having my bob cut in layers. Now that my hair is gray, it’s far less manageable and smooth. ( A young male co-worker referred to my hair as “witchy!”) Time for shorter and more layered hair!
