“Don’t get mad, get everything,” Ivana Trump advised divorcees in her cameo role in The First Wives Club. When Hollywood marriages go up in smoke, often the time spent together is measured by how many zeros are in the divorce settlement.

Who knew that the union, which started so beautifully with the former model walking down the aisle to the tune Heather, written by her former Beatle hubby, would end with demands by the landmine activist for $250 million and television rants about her victimization by the press.

  1. Rupert Murdoch is a gross person! The fact that he has over a billion in the bank just shows you there’s something very wrong with the world today.

  2. Haha. But honestly — it’s kind of crazy that some of these people were only married a couple of years and then the wife gets half! After a lifetime of marriage that’s one thing, but two years together and James Cameron had to give Linda HALF the money he made from Titanic?! Why is that fair?

  3. So agree “danggirl” – it is completely upsurd that one person DOES WAY BEYOND THEIR share contributing to the household, and the spouse gets half no matter what. Give me a break.

  4. if he earned that money he deserves it no matter how much it is and yes, it is absurd that these women get half of something they did nothing to contribute to – don’t think something is wrong with the world just because someone worked hard and earned money instead of relying on the government to pay their way in life –

  5. sorry – should have clarified – I am talking about those that are married for a very few years, not the ones that stood by his side, and helped him become the success that he became – those that were there for all the blood sweat and tears deserve their fair share – the golddiggers? – not a chance –
