I am woman, hear me roar! This season there’s no question about where the wild things are, as trend-setters are embracing woolly furs and ferocious python, leopard, and zebra prints. Keep the look fresh by opting for animal prints in less conventional hues and winter-appropriate textures, such as wool or jacquard. Another big look this fall is mix-and-match prints, with even First Lady Michelle Obama pairing a leopard-print blouse with a polka-dot skirt. And to avoid looking like you just stepped off the set of Real Housewives, balance the prints with solid basics—a little goes a long way.
Color-wise, traditional neutrals and browns are best for women with warm, darker coloring. Cool, fair types, meanwhile, are better off with black and white or bolder and brighter hues.
