How are you going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo? If your answer doesn’t involve a margarita or some other tequila-based cocktail, then we have a problem, senorita.
The 5th of May is a day to celebrate Mexican history and heritage, and that includes the delectable food and drink that come from the country. So, as you gather with friends today to munch on some chips and guacamole and be serenaded by a mariachi band, make sure you’re also sipping on one of these delicious concoctions.
Blood Orange Margarita

1½ oz. Tequila Avión
¾ oz. Cointreau Orange Liqueur
1 oz. blood orange juice
½ oz. fresh sour mix
In a cocktail shaker add all ingredients with ice. Shake and strain; best served over fresh ice and garnish with an orange twist.

2 oz. Riazul Reposado
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
¾ oz. simple sugar
Fresh mint leaf
2 slices skinned cucumber
Muddle together reposado, lime juice, simple sugar and fresh mint. Garnish with cucumber slices.
