Back-to-school shopping has just received a permission slip to be edgier, daring, and exciting with the creation of Payless Shoe Source’s new brand for teens, Brash!
Created to encourage teen girls and women alike to create their own independent style, Brash’s collection will feature 120 fashionable shoes, handbags, jewelry, and other accessories that are unique, but trendy.

To promote the individuality of Brash, Payless has signed on Sierra Kusterbeck, the lead singer of VersaEmerge, to serve as the iconic Brash Girl and be the face and voice of the collection. Since her style can only be described as unique and edgy, Kusterbeck is the perfect addition to this already promising line!

In true Payless fashion, Brash will be affordable with shoes ranging from $6 to $25 and boots for $45, and the collection will be updated regularly throughout the year. The line doesn’t launch nationally until August, but for those teens anxious to get their hands on Brash, in the coming weeks, Payless will be launching Brash Girl online. It will feature the full Brash collection and allow readers to learn more about Sierra and the collection.
Are you excited yet? Well, Sierra definitely is!
"I am thrilled to team up with Payless on Brash," said Kusterbeck. "I personify a Brash Girl both on and off the stage, and I am excited to inspire others with my role as the face and voice of Brash. I often have girls approach me and ask 'where did you get that?' and now I can say 'at Payless,' which for me is really powerful because the Brash brand can help them achieve the bold style they are after because of its affordability and accessibility.”
