Robert Pattinson: My Dad Gives Me Love Advice

Rob shares his secret weapon – emails from his dad!

Robert Pattinson seems to get more affable and adorable by the day, and his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night was no exception. The actor seemed unable to contain his joy when he shared a cute anecdote about his dad.

“I hope this doesn’t embarrass him, but my dad loves to send me e-mails, which I love, love getting,” Pattinson said before whipping out his iPhone to share one particular email with the audience.

“Dear Rob, I’ve been thinking about gestures, and a good one, in my opinion, is to kiss a lady’s hand,” Pattinson said, reading the email aloud. “It’s very romantic and refined. Offer a hand ostensibly to shake, and then, the kiss – I impressed your mother that way.”

Wonder if he impressed his Twilight costar and/or/maybe-girlfriend Kristen Stewart that way, too!
