Oh Ms. & Mrs. Minimergency Kit for Her where have you been all my life? I recently road tested the kit ($13, sephora.com) and it was love at first use.
The kit comes in a small metallic case (available in silver, gold, pewter, red, turquoise, pink and purple), which is small enough to fit into any bag and most clutches, but the best part is all this compact case can fit inside.
What’s inside? A LOT! There’s dental floss, Ice Drops breath freshener, an Emery board, 0.8 oz clear nail polish, 1 nail polish remover pad, 0.017 oz Blistex lip ointment, .1 oz hair spray, clear elastics, earring backs, 1 stain remover towelette, double-sided tape, a mending kit, 1 deodorant towelette, 1 small latex-free bandage, 1 regular tampon, and 1 packet of 2 tablets of Advil.
In the short time I’ve had it; it’s helped me survive a handful of emergencies. When I stained my little black dress in the middle of a dinner party, I whipped out the stain remover towelette and just like that, my dress was saved. When my adorable new wedges blistered my feet, I pulled out the small latex-free bandage and kept on dancing. When on the way to an important meeting I noticed my nails were a mess, I broke out my clear nail polish, nail polisher remover pad, and Emery board and my nails were once again fabulous.
With all that this little bag can do, it is definitely a girl’s new best friend.
