(which, by the waym stands for "eyes, lips, face") when I wasn’t even looking for it: I picked up some of their Brightening Eye Color eyeshadow when it magically appeared at my local Target over the summer, and I was smitten in an instant. Whether we’re talking about lip glosses, eye shadows, foundations, or blushes, e.l.f.’s colors are great, the packaging is adorable, and the prices are so very, very right. e.l.f.’s Studio Line is particularly amazing, and it is from here that this brand-new Body Shimmer comes. First, the packaging: Like all e.l.f. products, the Body Shimmer comes in a cute and compact package. It’s pocket-sized, so it’s easy to carry around with you, and it features a convenient twist-up design for easy application. As an added bonus, the cap clicks into place, so you don’t have to worry about it coming uncapped in your bag and getting shimmery stuff all over everything (I hate it when that happens).

But the packaging is just a prelude to the fantastic product inside. Applying just a little of the Body Shimmer with either your fingers or a brush creates a subtle, healthy glow. It’s the ultimate multi-tasker, too; it’s great for cheeks, eyes, décolleté, or just about anywhere else you want to add a little shine. My favorite way to use it? As eyeshadow. It highlights and opens up your eyes while simultaneously supplying a hint of color. I tested it out in the shade Golden Glow—perfect for green eyes!—but the Body Shimmer comes in three other fabulous colors. From the pale pink Mystic Moonlight, to the brighter Cosmic Coral, to the radiant Blazing Bronze, there’s a color for everyone.
