Reese Witherspoon is no naive ingénue fresh off the bus from Kansas -- "I do know that actresses have a shelf life," she says. But does she worry about getting older in Hollywood? Not so much!

"In this business, hopefully I’ll age and become a Meryl Streep or Diane Keaton. The key is to work now and just do your best."

Reese doesn’t have time to dwell aging right now, since she stars in the new James L. Brooks movie this season called How Do You Know (where she juggled not one but two hottie co-stars), plus she’s planning Christmas with her children.

What’s the holiday season like in your house?
Oh, it’s just such a wonderful time to be with my children. We love to decorate the house and bake cookies. It’s all about Santa. My kids still believe – and so do I!

In your new movie, you’re not the typical girly girl we see in rom-coms.
True, I’ve done a lot of comedies where the woman talks about the men. She runs around going, ‘What should I do?’ She cries to her girlfriends about love. The woman I play in this movie has a hard time conveying her own emotions. She doesn’t even really want to talk about things.
