Real Women Love to Eat
Certified health coach Beth Aldreich has tips on how to love food and your skinny jeans.
We women are constantly in a whirl. If you’re not juggling two tasks, there’s another creeping up on you from behind. We can excel in a lot of things, but we usually fail ourselves. We never take enough care of ourselves—we have a habit of putting our needs last. And we find ourselves eating crap and half the time you’re not even aware of it. Remember that big bag of chips you ate while you watched a classic weepie, like An Affair to Remember? Probably not. But you felt it the next time you tried on something to wear.
Beth Aldrich, author of the award-winning new book, Real Moms Love to Eat, feels that you ought to enjoy whatever it is you’re eating. Even if it’s junk food—once in awhile. However, she says, “Eating in front of the TV is not savoring. There are also plenty of great healthy ingredients that you can turn into new foods to love, even healthier versions of those favorite comfort foods from childhood. You’ll finish meals feeling energized, emotionally satisfied and best of all, not guilty. And, oh yeah! You’ll look great in your skinny jeans!”
