Here at BettyConfidential, we like celebrity real estate. Even if we’ll never in a million years be able to afford any of these places, we kind of dig looking at overblown, unnecessarily large mansions with guesthouses and weird features and eight million bedrooms. We think it’s funny. And this is why we are now going to show you Christina Aguilera’s house, which she has just put on the market. Got $13.5 million to burn? Maybe it’s time to become a crazy, ridiculous home owner!

According to TooFab, the sale of Christina’s mansion is being handled by Brooke Kaufman of Hilton & Hyland Realty. And it’s… really something special. It’s located at 513 Doheny Road in Beverly Hills, and according to its listing, it’s “full of style, creative décor, and ultimate elegance.” In addition to the grand foyer, sweeping staircase, and Master suite with fireplace, lounge, his and her baths/walk-in closets, there is also a “fanciful children’s room” that “inspires joy.” Oh, and there’s a gym, a game room, a gift-wrapping area (seriously? An area set aside just for wrapping presents?), a “gorgeous and lush movie room,” a beauty salon (!). and a guesthouse with a recording studio. Outside, there’s a pool with a water slide and a “grotto spa,” a BBQ, and a pagoda for entertaining. All in all, there are six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

I… can’t even wrap my brain around most of that. Everything kind of froze up somewhere around “gift-wrapping area.”

Now, part of me realizes that when you’ve got that much money, you’ve probably got to spend it on something. But at the same time, a different part of me goes, “Really? A salon in your house? These are the types of things you’ve decided you simply cannot live without? Really?!” Facepalm.
