PUMA and Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) have teamed up in the fight against breast cancer with Project Pink. This month, PUMA will dress some of the world’s best female soccer players in official Project Pink gear in honor of the cause. Look out for teammates Karina LeBlanc and Amy Rodrigues (Philadelphia Independence) and Leslie Osborn (Boston Breakers). They will not only sport the gear for five of the WPS matches, but will also serve as spokeswomen for the project.
"As a woman in sports, I always support promoting an active, healthy lifestyle," LeBlanc says. "Plus, a number of my close friends and family have been affected by breast cancer. I'm out here doing what I love, and any chance I have to be a part of a project like this to show my passion for what I do and link with a good cause is a no-brainer."
To drive up more awareness, Project Pink themed activities will go down in Fanzones throughout the games. An official Project Pink ball will even be utilized on the field each match.

Project Pink merchandise is also available for fan purchase. Look great and support the cause in a Project Pink T-shirt ($24, shop.puma.com) and gym sac ($12, shop.puma.com). Brush up on your soccer skills as you kick around a mini Project Pink soccer ball ($10, shop.puma.com).
Get involved with Project Pink! Vote for the nonprofit breast cancer charity you want to receive 100% of the profits from the Project product sales at the Project Pink Forum. Voting begins July 31st on the site and the winner will be announced in October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month.) Then get Tweeting! PUMA will donate an additional $1 per day per user who Tweets the cause with hash tag #projectpink. With your help, PUMA will donate up to an additional $25,000. Score!
