Wait, what? President Barack Obama sings Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way?” Well, sort of—it depends a little on your definition of “sings.” I will say, though, that this video is one of the most astonishing pieces of editing I’ve ever seen. Take a look:

Okay, so technically he’s not really singing, per se; it’s not like the President suddenly stood up and broke out into song. That doesn’t stop it from being absolutely amazing, though! A brand new YouTube account called baracksdubs came into existence a week ago, and a few days ago, its first upload appeared: This extremely creative video. The footage all comes from the public domain videos of Obama’s speeches posted on the White House’s website; by taking individual words from all of those speeches, baracksdubs managed to string together the lyrics of “Born This Way.” Set it to an instrumental of the actual song, and you’re good to go! According to the video’s YouTube page, its creator has big plans to make more videos throughout the year, so go on and “like” it and favorite it and all that jazz. If it does well enough, we’ll have plenty of more Barack Obama club mixes to look forward to!
