This past Saturday marked the end of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell,” a controversial 17-year policy that forced homosexuals back into the closet while serving in the military. We asked our readers how they felt about the repeal, and here’s what they had to say…

Results:

  • FINALLY!!!: 53%
  • I don't think the repeal will make any difference: 29%
  • Sorry, but I don’t see how gays can serve in the military: 13%
  • I’m glad, but it was a good measure for its time: 5%
