Pics! Meet Jack Osbourne and Lisa Stelly’s Baby Girl, Pearl!
Meet Jack Osbourne and Lisa Stelly’s new baby girl, Pearl, in this week’s issue of Hello! magazine. Pics inside!
Two weeks ago, Jack Osbourne and fiancée Lisa Stelly welcomed a new daughter to the world—and now, they’re introducing her to everyone else in it!
This week’s issue of Hello! magazine features an up-close-and-personal look at the new family. Naturally, this includes pictures like the one above. Though the cynic in me can’t help but wonder what the payout was for the pics (sorry!), what I like about these is that they aren’t the super posed celebrity baby pictures that seem to have become the norm lately—at least, if you’re planning on debuting your baby in a magazine. The preview pic shown here looks more or less like a regular ol’ family photo of Lisa, Jack, and Jack’s mum Sharon, with baby Pearl cradled sleepily in their arms. And gosh, but isn’t she a cutie!
Jack also spoke to Hello! about what it’s like to be a new father. “People say when you have a kid it’s like instant love, but unless you’ve experienced it, it’s impossible to comprehend,” he said. “The moment I saw her I felt more love than I’d ever felt for anything. It was the weirdest, most overwhelming thing.”
Of course, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows; after all, Jack and Lisa had only been together for three months when she found out she was pregnant, something about which Jack is refreshingly candid. When she broke the news to him, he said, “I think I responded with ‘That’s interesting.’ What do you say? If we’d been trying for two years, of course you’d be like, ‘Awesome!’ But we met in May and found out in August.” He even told Lisa that he needed a week or so to “really take this in” and “get [his] head around the whole situation.”
Happily, it seems to have worked out for the best. Jack and Lisa are going stronger than ever and are currently planning a small wedding for later this year. Sharon seems especially proud not only of how Jack has been handling all these big life changes, but about how they’ve improved him as a person. “It’s incredible to see Jack holding his baby girl, walking around so confidently,” she told Hello! “He’s very nurturing and he and Lisa are so good together.”
Congrats again to the happy family; Pearl is most definitely one well-loved little baby, which is just as it should be.
