On Cinco de Mayo Try a Glass of Lo-Cal Eppa Superfruit Sangria
Here’s a drink that’s good for you! Eppa Superfuit Sangria has only 120 calories.
Bettys, I love Margaritas as much as the next gal. However, I had no idea that they were uber high in calories. If you’re planning on celebrating Cinco de Mayo or are just looking for a tasty beverage that isn’t a calorie monster, you might want to check out Eppa Superfruit Sangria.
The sangria is made in northern California at the foothills of Duncan Peak in Mendocino County. It’s made with organically grown Mendocino Cabernet and Syrah. The wines are then blended with a combination of organic juices superfruit ingredients: pomegranate, Mediterranean blood oranges, acai and blueberries. Eppa Superfruit Sangria has been certified organic and only has 120 calories a glass.
John Gomez, Co-Founder of the Eppa Wine Company stated in a press release that, “We went to great lengths to develop a proprietary blending technique that allowed for the creation of a superior quality sangria made with real fruit juices and not just added flavors. Our efforts have paid off with an amazingly great tasting sangria, which is leaps ahead of anything else available in the market place.”
You can chill the wine and pour it as is, or you can use one of their tasty recipes.
