Nolcha Fashion Week

Nolcha Fashion Week is a four days of independent runway shows that run in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. They have just wrapped up the 9th consecutive season.

While Nolcha is known for supporting and showing the work of emerging designers, they have quickly gained attention for highlighting ethical fashion. Their program contains an ethical fashion preview that is run in conjunction with the Bel Esprit showroom. The ethical fashion preview is a day-long presentation. This past September, they showcased 10 brands. Each brand met eco and/or socially-conscious standards when came to style.

Who says one fashionista’s trash can’t be another’s treasure? Nolcha proved it’s impossible not to lust over reduced, reused and recycled collections for Spring 2011 with brands you can look good in and feel great about purchasing.
