Names can mean a number of things. Roman means courage, Aaron means strength, Faye means fidelity and Kenneth means handsome. People magazine is reporting that Natalie Portman and her fiancé; Benjamin Millepied picked a name that would definitely give their child a boost: they named him Aleph.

Aleph is the name of the first letter of the Hebrew alaphet. It also means number 1. According to RTT News, Natalie revealed the name of her month old baby in late June during an appearance on the Israeli talk show, Good Evening With Guy Pines. Natalie explained that she wanted to pay homage to her homeland, as she was born in Israel. Natalie was born Natalie Hershlag, Portman is her grandmother's last name.
