I remember vividly, one rainy, lonely Friday night, several years ago. It seemed the relationship with my real-life boyfriend was on the fast-track to destruction, for many reasons. You like to think you can separate life from fantasy, but a person remains who they inherently are even when you do this type of work. Men, as well as women, like to be flirted with, teased, and excited, whether it is a brand-new, or many-year, relationship. I believe that when that connection is lost, people can start to separate, move on, or have affairs. Sometimes they isolate themselves from their partner, and start to have a secret, private side that no one except for me, as the phone sex operator who takes their calls, knows about.

I was feeling pretty down and quite alone on this particular night. I decided to pop bottle of wine, take a hot bath and listen to some music as I took calls.
