For the first time in history, most Americans back gay marriage. A new survey from ABC and the Washington Post says 53% of Americans say gay men and women should be able to legally marry.

It's the first time in history more than half the country has supported gay marriage. The lowest poll result was in 2004, when only 32% of Americans said they supported same sex marriage.  (Newser)
