Man, the Kardashian news just keeps getting more and more bizarre, doesn’t it? Hot on the heels of Kris Humphries’ declaration that his marriage to Kim was a fraud and Daniel Craig’s un-impressedness of the entire Kardashian clan comes this: Khloe Kardashian is being sued. For assault. By a transgender woman. Boy, those Kardashians sure know how to have a good time, don’t they?

According to People, the incident happened in the wee hours of the morning today outside a Hollywood nightclub. Chantal Spears, formerly Ronald Spears, apparently told Khloe’s husband, Lamar Odom, that he was too young to be married- in response to which Khloe allegedly gave her a big ol’ shove. TMZ, naturally, got the scoop on the story and managed to both talk to Chantal about it, as well as to snag a video depicting the aftermath of the event.

The official papers filed by Chantal state that Khloe “assaulted and battered [Spears] by violently striking [her] in and about her body,” and that the incident left her “in great fear for her life and physical well-being.” She’s seeking unspecified damages. Khloe’s reps have yet to release a statement.

Maybe this incident is just a poorly-timed coincidence, but I also think we can safely add it to the running tally of “Ways the Kardashians Are Trying Desperately to Stay in the Limelight And/Or Draw Attention Away from Kim’s Divorce.” Khloe usually keeps a pretty low profile in comparison to her sisters, so it’s a little odd that she’s choosing now to come out of the woodwork. Ah well. Ridiculousness from the Kardashians isn’t exactly a surprise anymore, is it? If it ever was in the first place, that is…
