When you think of brother/sister power couples a few come to mind: Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal, Marie and Donnie Osmond and Stranz and Fairchild Van Waldenberg (Amy Poehler and Will Arnett from Blades of Glory.) In the fashion design world, it’s Chris and Nicholas Kunz of Nicholas K who are making their rise. They are New York City based siblings who were chosen to start off 2011’s New York Fashion Week Fall collection.

Starting at a fashionably late 9:34 a.m. (Seriously people? Can’t we at least have the first show start on time???), Bollywood music blaring, Fashion Week commences. Their style is very Diesel-eque for both men and women with lots of black, leather, metal accessories and textures and they stayed true to that in this collection. They started off with black, drop-crotch Killian pant paired up with a brown Royce shirt with a black Stoltz jacket on top. It was urban, wearable, worn looking, like your favorite bum-around-town outfit.
