Nothing like having your daughter in jail and a little restraining order to kill the romance. While Lilo's been locked up, her media-loving father Michael Lohan has gladly taken it upon himself to make sure his family stays in the tabloid headlines, chatting with TMZ's cameras about his fizzled romance with former Star reporter Kate Major.

"Absolutely... we never will be (back together)," Michael replied after being asked if their engagement was over. It was hard to see this coming: after all, Kate filed a restraining order against Michael earlier this week, alleging he hit her in the face with a shoe.

In typical Michael Lohan style, he is ready to release embarrasing photos of his ex-fiance, showing "how drunk Kate gets during the day." Surely he will release them slowly, one by one, as he did with those embarrasing tapes of Lindsay and Dina Lohan discussing his daughter's personal issues. He really is getting good at this.
