Looks like going to jail runs in the family! Last night was a doozy for Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael. Daddy dearest was arrested after his lady friend, which new reports are suggesting is his ex, Kate Major, filed a report with the police, claiming he'd gotten physical during an argument.

According to People, Lohan was arrested on three different charges: corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment and preventing a report of victimization. "He was detained after he was spotted walking on the street near our station," says Lt. John Ratto. "He showed no signs of intoxication that I'm aware of and has been cooperative."

What's peculiar about the incident is that Michael complained of chest pains before being booked, so police took him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to be treated. Was this a last desperate attempt at freedom before being locked up?

With bail set at $200,000 and no one in their right mind wanting to help out "the best father of the year," we wouldn't be surprised if it was. Smooth move, Mr. Lohan. (People)
