That’s right: The Brothers Wahlberg are finally capitalizing on their last name by opening a burger joint. Because, I mean, really: If your name is Wahlberg, you’re sort of cosmically obligated to open a burger place, right? Their restaurant, cleverly and hilariously titled Wahlburgers, will be based in their hometown of Boston. Even more hilariously, Donnie and Mark, along with their other brother Paul, who’s a chef, were only able to start making their dream a reality once they secured the trademark rights to the name “Wahlburger.” You heard me: Somebody else already owned the name. In this case, it was a Rochester-based chain called Tom Wahls, which also sold a Wahlburger-- albeit a non-rapping, non-acting, non-posing-in-undies Wahlburger.

The family already owns an Italian restaurant called Alma Nove; Wahlburgers is set to open next door. The brothers also have plans to open a pizzeria next year, further building on their burgeoning food empire.
Personally, I’m just waiting for a Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch-themed restaurant. Because what goes better with lunch than a healthy dose of '90s nostalgia?
