In this week’s edition of International Dudes Getting Their Imaginary Freak On, we’ve got an Italian businessman so in love with his ex-girlfriend he paid more than $23,000 to have a life-sized sex doll made in her exact image.

Talk about not getting over your ex.

According to The Sun, a middle-aged man banged on the door of Diego Bortolin, who makes eerily realistic sex dolls at a shop called Tentazioni (translation: Temptations) in Treviso, Italy. Handing over photos of his ex-girlfriend, the 50-year-old man declared, “I want it just like her but with bigger boobs,” Bortolin told Italy's Il Messaggero newspaper.

Bortolin describes the man’s former girlfriend this way: “She was a smiling blonde girl, but he wanted bigger boobs and a curvier backside.”

His custom cutie weighs 128 pounds and stands (or arches – the doll is fully flexible) at about 5’3”. Still waiting to hear if that’s approved carry-on size.

Bortolin says the dolls he normally creates are exceptionally realistic with all parts in working order, but that "this one was more expensive because we had to replicate everything, right down to the shape of her nails and teeth.”

That better be one good mani-pedi for $23,000. Can you imagine how many online dating subscriptions this man could have bought with that cash? Or, let’s just say it – real-life prostitutes?

Is he that lazy or self-loathing that he can’t handle searching for a flesh (and blood) companion? Or is this a case of one-true-love gone horribly wrong?

After imagining what this dude wants to do to his ex-girlfriend’s body (creepy!), another thought came to mind: fantasizing about life-sized dolls is nothing new.
