Tastes in clothing changes as you get older, and so should your makeup as you age. When you’re young, “glitter is good!” As time goes on, you leave college, start a career and then suddenly become responsible adults and have to look like one too. Cosmetics become something to be used to enhance features instead of a toy. Read on for BettyConfidential’s guide to fabulosity at any age.

Great tips- I hat it wehn I sww a 40 yer old attempting to rock glitter eye shadow.
Scarlett always looks gorgeous, lucky gal!
Can we please not have to look at any more pics of SJP?
Does that mean I have to toss my glitter? Lol
@Kitty-c’mon now! She’s a role model for thousands of women. She’s in her 40s and looks fantastic.
I think your 20s are the perfect time to experiment with different makeup looks… go crazy!
@kitty: SJP overload! I’m over SATC and SJP
I think Eva Mendes could go without makeup every single day and she would still look glowing and fabulous.
I LOVE SJP…she’ll fade again after SATC2, so just relax, girls! Betty, don’t listen to the haters…they’re jealous of SJP! LOL… And BTW, I CAN and DO rock glitter in my 40′s… NOT all the time, but on occasion, over-the-top looks can work at ANY age! When I am a little old lady, I will be rockin’ PURPLE hair! HAVE FUN…EVEN WHEN YOU’RE OLD AND GRAY!
Enuf with SJB — she does not look young for her age and she is not pretty at all
