All I can say is, “Wowza!” I completely and totally understand that this Judith Leiber Union Jack Clutch ($4405 or £2285, harrods.com) is so way beyond my price tag, I’ve almost got a nosebleed, I don’t care, I am still lusting after this bag.

I am mesmerized by the sparkly red, white and blue crystals that adorn both sides of it. In my minds eye, I can see myself at some black tie event in London sharing a joke with Kate and Wills (like that’ll happen).

 When I look at it, I hear a siren call of “Oooh pretty, pretty!”

 I think the only way to deal with it, is to pretend it’s just a work of art!
