Suri Cruise Cinderella Castle

Suri Cruise has been on quite the adventure with her daddy, Tom Cruise, over the past week, taking on Disney World in Orlando, FL by storm. But though Suri seems to have had a blast splashing around at Typhon Lagoon and traipsing around in an Ariel costume, she REALLY scored the big-time when it came to their accommodations: Daddy and daughter got to stay in the extremely exclusive Cinderella’s Castle Suite. That’s right: Instead of booking your standard hotel room (though let’s be honest, even a standard Disney hotel room is pretty spectacular), Tom pulled enough strings to allow his daughter to stay INSIDE Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom. Being the daughter of someone famous has its perks, doesn’t it?

The Cinderella’s Castle Suite can’t be reserved like a normal hotel room, and few people ever get the chance to stay in it. Initially intended to be an apartment for Walt Disney and his family (there’s a comparable one in California’s Disneyland, right above the fire station on Main Street), construction on the suite was halted in 1966 after Walt’s death. In 2005, however, it was announced that the suite would be completely decorated and upholstered as a royal bedchamber, and in 2006, a night in the castle was available as a prize during Disney’s Year of a Million Dreams celebration. Previous celebrity occupants include Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary in the suite in 2010.

And yes, it is just as spectacular as you think it is. It sleeps six, and it features canopy-draped queen beds, a cut-stone bedchamber floor, a parlor sofa, an incredibly detailed ceiling, stained-glass windows, period French furniture, portraits and mirrors which magically transform into flat-screen televisions—and, of course, a glass slipper.
