Elle Women in Hollywood 2012

As you may already know, the 19th Annual Elle Women in Hollywood Awards occurred on Monday night—and you know what that means. That’s right: Red carpet style! A lot of stars looked absolutely fabulous; a lot of them did not; and some of them… we’re a little confused about.

So we’d like to open up the polling station. We’ve rounded up six of the most polarizing looks, from Emma Stone to Sarah Jessica Parker and given our verdicts here; and now we want to know what YOU think, Bettys. Tell us in the comments!

Shall we? Here we go!

Normally, I love Cate Blanchett. She’s a goddess, and usually when she pulls out red carpet looks that get mixed ractions, I land pretty firmly on the “I LOVE IT!” side of things. But this?

…Let’s just say that I’m not so sure about it. It’s a Proenza Schouler number, and it fits her well, but the whole “I’m wearing a landscape painting” element is sort of throwing me off. I love her Roger Vivier shoes, though, and her simple hair and makeup are perfection. If you’re going to go with a loud print for your dress, easy does it for everything else.

Verdict: Hate, though I still adore Cate.

Up next: Emma Stone!
