Love It or Hate It: Cannes Red Carpet Style

Cannes Film Festival is an annual event where Rachel McAdams and other stars throughout the world converge for 10 days. Each day there’s a movie premiere, photo call and of course parties! We’re going to be periodically checking in until May 21, when everyone goes home.

May 11 opening night and premiere of Midnight in Paris

French actress Chloe Lambert is wearing the color of the moment, honeysuckle. The bright ruffled gown livened up an evening of mostly ivory, white and nude gowns.

Talk about an entrance maker! Rachel McAdams captures every eye in the place in this red and white illusion silk organza Marchesa gown.

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek might have opted for a soft color (silver), but the beading on her Gucci Premiere silk gorgette gown reflected the lights and gave her a glow. Salma carried a matching Gucci bag.

Karolina Kurkova

The diagonal beading on this Armani Prive gown that Karolina Kurkova wore created the illusion of fireworks when the light hit hit. The retro updo and curvy design of the dress harkens back to old Hollywood. The fire in the Chopard jewelry she wore matched the dress perfectly.
