Live Video Chat With Angelina Jolie Tomorrow!
Angelina Jolie is doing a live Q&A video chat on Thursday, January 12 to talk about In the Land of Blood & Honey. Awesome!
Have you always wanted to sit down and have a chat with Angelina Jolie? Well, guess what? Now you can! Angelina is doing her first ever live video chat with her fans this Thursday, January 12 at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST. Hoorah!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the chat will be 45 minutes long and will focus on her directorial/screenwriting debut, In the Land of Blood & Honey. For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, it features Zana Marjanovic as a Muslim woman dating a Serb policeman (Goran Kostic); but when the Bosnian War breaks out, she ends up at a rape camp run by her former lover. Heavy, controversial stuff. Interestingly, Angie shot the film in both English and Bosnian/Croation/Serbian, and it’s one of the five films nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.
Angelina said in a release, “This is my first online chat and I’m thrilled that Hearst is broadcasting this across so many of its websites to reach such a diverse audience as the film expands into more theaters.”
To participate in the chat, make sure you head over to MarieClaire.com to RSVP; then you can submit any questions you’d like to ask Angie here. It’s probably a good idea to keep the conversation focused on the film, her experience making it, etc., so you might want to refrain from asking anything about her family. It’s a toss-up whether fashion and beauty topics will make the cut, though; my gut says that they won’t, but as the Hollywood Reporter noted, it might be worth probing a little bit into what she’s going to wear to the Golden Globes. Given her nomination, that’s relevant, right?
Planning on participating? Let us know what you think!
