In high school, members of the Glee club weren’t popular. Now, we can’t get enough of their melodies and pop covers! When Glee hit our TV screens in early 2009, it was an instant hit. Sitting at the top of the ratings charts for weeks threw the dynamic cast into the spotlight. Adorable brunette Lea Michele became a breakout star. We fell in love with Rachel Berry and her perfect soprano  week after week. After winning the 2009 Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Series, Comedy or Musical and a Screen Actors Guild Award, she became a permanent fixture at all the major award events. Lea Michele is burning up red carpets everywhere. Named to People Magazine’s Best Dressed List for 2010 and signed on as an ASOS spokesmodel, she has evolved from a simple songstress into a musical fashionista.

The first official Glee screening gives the world a glimpse at Lea Michele and the rest of her co-stars. We get a small peak at her potential to be on the best dressed list with this embroidered bodice and flowing hem.

Twilight: New Moon was the most anticipated movie of 2009. Lea was present at the film’s premiere. We can see a hint of the edge in her personality with the black leather mini and classic black pumps with a modern flower twist. It’s just a shame that her shoes are too big.

2010

She might be a petite five-foot-two, but ASOS picked her to model for their ads.

Before belting out “Don’t Rain on my Parade,” Lea hit the 2010 Tony Awards red carpet, dazzling everyone in a marigold yellow Zac Posen out of her fashion arsenal. Lea was a fashion goddess in the making with a perfect marigold yellow against her tanned complexion.
