Apparently Vogue was planning to run a massive Kristen Stewart feature for their June issue. It sounds, however, as though Stewart would not submit to Vogue EIC Anna Wintour's demands for a very detailed, uber-personal interview. Vogue had even begun to shoot images of Kristen, but they wound up publishing only one photo, making Kristen Stewart appear as nothing more than a backseat actress only capable of predicating a back-of-book style page.

For shame. Vogue's alternative strategy garnered big criticism when they ran a boring cover feature on Gossip Girl Blake Lively, who, according to Lainey Gossip via Celebitchy, is known to do whatever Anna Wintour says. But when Blake Lively turned up as Vogue's bubble-gum surfer-girl cover girl, Kristen Stewart turned up in a Euro-sophisticate spread in Elle UK.
