Kate Middleton Tops ‘Vanity Fair’s’ International Best Dressed List for 2012
This year’s ‘Vanity Fair’ International Best Dressed List features Kate Middleton and a whole plethora of other royals!
Ladies and gents, it’s finally here: This year’s Vanity Fair International Best Dressed List for 2012. From actors to designers and from athletes to musicians, the list encompasses the most stylish men and women in the world—at least, as far as Vanity Fair is concerned (we wonder how VF’s list will stack up against, say, Vogue’s? Or Harper’s Bazaar’s?). And I know you’re just DYING to know who made it, aren’t you? Of course you are! Topping the list this year, we have… drumroll, please… Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, AKA Kate Middleton! Congratulations, Kate!
Pictured here in a Jenny Packham creation worn to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Duchess Kate has repeatedly wowed the crowds with her ability to pull off both high-end designer wear as well as lower-end styles; and her recent fashion risks in particular, like the aforementioned Jenny Packham dress (which, you’ll recall, had quite the showstopping back) and her sexy, leg-baring Lombarde Roland Mouret gown, have certainly not gone unnoticed.
This is the third time Kate has nabbed a spot on the list; her first was in 2008 and her second in the post-wedding whirlwind of 2011. As one of the top winners, her lovely visage adorns half of the covers of this month’s Vanity Fair; the others feature actress Jessica Chastain.
Neither is Kate the only royal to appear on the list this year. She’s joined by her brother-in- law, Prince Harry:
