Kate Hudson just dropped some BIG news on Matt Lauer during her interview on the Today show this morning -- she's engaged! The 32-year-old star was on the show to promote her movie, Something Borrowed, but Matt Lauer was too distracted by her growing baby bump... and her MASSIVE diamond engagement ring!

"Yes, I'm engaged," Kate admitted. "It just happened a week ago, I'm so glad you noticed. I haven't really announced it and I felt like the announcing thing feels so silly, and I was just waiting for someone to notice."

The lucky guy is, of course, Matt Bellamy, her baby's daddy who she's been dating for about a year. No details on the wedding date or how he popped the question just yet, but I'm sure we'll get it out of Kate eventually.
