Pretty Woman Julia Roberts is the newest celeb victim of the UK’s fight against Photoshop.
According to a report from Newser, the British advertising authorities have forced L’Oreal to pull two of Julia Roberts and Christy Turlington’s latest print ads, citing that both bombshells were overly airbrushed.
Looking as if she’s 20 again in two of the ads, Julia Roberts looks fabulous (as always). But, this lack of aging alarmed advertising authorities. They claim the extensive retouching might mislead consumers – especially since one of the ads is about L’Oreal’s new foundation, which is supposed to have the ability to create "natural light."

So, what is the powerhouse brand’s response? L’Oreal has admitted to lightening Christy’s skin, but claims that the ads left signs of aging on her face. As for Julia, there was no comment!
A UK lawmaker who has lobbied in court for ridding advertising of unrealistic images is pleased with the decision. She told the Guardian newspaper, "Both Christy Turlington and Julia Roberts are naturally beautiful women who don't need retouching to look great. This ban sends a powerful message to advertisers: Let's get back to reality."
The UK is working hard to make all women feel beautiful!
