He's just your average guy who likes to watch a little football on Sundays and hang out with the one he dubs "my girl." Josh Duhamel says his life is pretty normal with rocker wife Fergie. "We like to barbecue and watch the Minnesota Vikings on the weekends. The only thing different about us is the paparazzi is often outside our front door."

No matter. Duhamel, who has been wed to Ms. Fergalicious for two years, takes it all in stride. He has a new movie about coupling and parenthood called Life as We Know It opening October 8^th and is working on Transformers 3 for next summer. "Transformers 3 is about how the machines mate and have a baby," he teases. Not really, but his new movie has him and Katherine Heigl -- two confirmed singles -- with child after their best friends die and leave them their infant daughter Sophie. It's awkward because they hate each other thanks to a bad blind date years ago.

Did you ever go on the blind date from hell in your pre-Fergie days?
Dating scared the crap out of me. I just couldn’t date. I’ve never been fixed up. I’ve always been in relationships for a long time. In fact, I had to make very sure that I had to date the person before I’d even do a dinner. I’d do a recomplete reconnaissance before we even had a salad.

Really?
You know when you really feel it for someone? I couldn’t go for it if I was only thinking, “Maybe I just might like her.” My girl is the most amazing person on earth.

What’s a good weekend day for you and Fergie?
It’s about barbecuing and watching the Minnesota Vikings. It’s football season, so we’re all set for Sundays. We never spend more than a week or two apart. When we’re not working, we’re real homebodies.

How bad is it dealing with the paparazzi?
The paparazzi literally waits for us at the end of our driveway, but you just suck it up and move on. We have this wonderful life – me and my girl. We don’t let anything bother us.
