It’s a pair made in film heaven – two of Hollywood’s top actors, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem, married in a small, very private ceremony earlier this month, and they aren’t even selling the rights to the photos. Shocking!

Cruz’s reps told people the pair married at a private residence in the Bahamas, and only a few close family members and friends attended.

They’ve been dating since 2007, but they’ve since refused to comment on their relationship at all. They met on the set of Jamon, Jamon nearly twenty years ago, and co-starred in 2008’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Javier and Penelope have two Academy Awards and three Oscar noms between them, plus countless other nominations and awards.

Though Cruz doesn’t discuss her private relationship with Bardem, she was effusive when asked about him: “He's a friend and the best actor in the world.”

Apparently, he’s much more than that. We’re always happy to hear to hear about couples in love, but… we’re just a little annoyed with Penelope for killing our dreams of seducing Javier. Give us a few days, P. – we can’t stay mad at you for long. (People)
