I’d like to have a word with Mr. Zuckerberg.
No doubt the man will go down as one of the geniuses of my lifetime, as someone who greatly impacted the way people communicate and connect worldwide (and possibly, as somewhat of a royal jackass thanks to the movie). But sometimes, I wonder what life would be like without Facebook. For something so incredibly new—a mere 7-years old—it already seems like such an important part of daily life for millions of people.

If you’re anything like me, you use Facebook as a tool for stalking ex-boyfriends. Or those who you wish would’ve become boyfriends. Why is it that all of our exes aren’t far, far away in a place we’ll never go, but super close on Facebook?
Perhaps, when Mr. Zuckerberg created Facebook he never thought implementing a section for “relationship” status would be as paramount as it is. But now, a single change or update has the power to completely make or totally break my day… and my confidence.
