Need a lesson in how to handle pregnancy and babies when you’re a celebrity? Look no further than Adele. Back in June, she kept her pregnancy announcement simple, joyful, and to the point. In a post on her website entitled “I’ve Got Some News…”, she wrote, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon [Konecki, her boyfriend] and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me.” She continued, “Obviously we’re over the moon and very excited, but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.” Then she stayed quietly out of the spotlight for the duration of her pregnancy. It doesn’t get much classier than that, right?

But hey, guess what? The wait is finally over—Adele and Simon’s baby has arrived! According to US Weekly, the singer recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy. No other details were immediately available, but as far as we know, both Mum and Baby are doing fine. Congratulations to the happy new family!

Though rumors started circulating in August that she and Simon had actually tied the knot, Adele quashed the rumors herself on Twitter with the message, “I’m not married… Zzzzzzz” on August 30. She has, however, been hard at work on her next full-length album (“The pregnancy has had a big impact on her songwriting,” a source gushed to US Weekly), and she’s providing the theme to the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, as well. Take a listen to “Skyfall” here:

Congrats again to Adele, Simon, and their little bundle of joy!
