While we were all stockpiling non-perishables and hoping that the power stayed on, Hugh Jackman took a different strategy when it came to prepping for Hurricane Irene: He took a vacation! True, the vacation had already been planned in advance, but it was a perfect way for the actor, his family, and their French bulldog to get out of New York in time to avoid the storm. Instead, Wolverine, his wife Deborah-Lee Furness, and their kids, Ava and Oscar, spent the weekend at Saint-Tropez, a seaside town in the south of France. Saint-Tropez seems to be a favorite Jackman family vacation favorite; this isn’t the first time they’ve stopped over there.
